About Us
Gloam means dusk, twilight, the time of day immediately following sunset. Similarly the Hawaiian word “alaula” (ala: road and ula: red) is a streak of light, such as is seen after the sun sets and before the sun rises. It is an ideal time to make a wish for your next life experience. š

GLšAMĀ® is an abbreviation of āglobal roamā. It was a dream born during the pandemic, but was actually manifesting 2 decades earlier. In 1999 I created the first prototype of the GLšAMĀ® postcard. My wedding guests were gifted a photo with details of its date and venue on the reverse, as a keepsake of the special occasion.
āSince then my desire for nostalgia was rekindled and inspired me to launch my own small business, to assist others to cherish memories for all sorts of occasions and life’s experiences.
